HARRISBURG -- On Christmas Eve, Harrisburg Police arrested Barry Johnson-Daniels and charged him after an ongoing investigation.

The investigation found that he was allegedly selling cocaine in the city.  When he was arrested, Johnson-Daniels was in possession of about 35 grams of crack cocaine and over $4,000.

He was arraigned and given $50,000 bail despite a request for high bail due to other pending cases against Johnson-Daniels.

Back in February of 2012, Paxtang Police arrested the suspect on similar drug charges.  In September of 2013, Johnson-Daniels was arrested in Philadelphia County after allegedly being caught with marijuana.

After the September arrest, a motion was filed by the state to revoke his bail due to his continued criminal activity.  However, that motion was denied and he was placed on electronic monitoring.

Johnson-Daniels was wearing his monitoring device when he was arrested.  The state again asked for his bail to be revoked, and this time it was approved.
