HARRISBURG -- Pennsylvania's agricultural community is bringing the farm to the public again this year at the Farm Show.

The exhibit made its debut in 2011 and it covers more than 13,000 square feet of the Farm Show Complex.

There will be several new features this year, including the addition of a grocery store display which will represent the final decision of food produced in Pennsylvania.

Visitors will be able to ask questions about farming.

“Many of us have an idea of what Old McDonald's farm is like and that is certainly not what is going on today,” stated Sam Kieffer of the PA Farm Bureau.  “There is a lot of technology that goes into the crops that we grow and how we raise animals. Farmers take a lot pride in what we do to protect the environment and that is also on display here as well.”

This year's theme is Today's Agriculture Opening Doors: Farming, Knowledge, Trust.
