Amber Alert: Missing 8-year-old from Maryland

Prince George's County, Maryland- Thursday the Metropolitan Police Department issued an Amber Alert for an 8-year-old Prince George's County girl.

Maryland Patrol officers responded to a motel in the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road to assist the Metropolitan Police Department in its search for Relisha Tenau Rudd. While at the motel, the officers discovered an adult female with trauma to the body.  She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives have no motive or suspects at this time.

Relisha was last seen in the 1900 block of Massachusetts Ave., SE.

She's four-feet-tall, weighing about 70 pounds and is in need of medication. 

She may be traveling in a white 1976 GMC truck, Maryland tag 305015.
