Reported by Ewa Roman:

Harrisburg -- The race for Harrisburg Mayor heated up with a debate Wednesday night at the State Museum.

Dan Miller, who is running as a Republican and Eric Papenfuse who's on the democratic ticket, faced-off talking about the Harrisburg Strong Plan that is geared to save the city financially.

Miller says that plan is not the way go but Papenfuse says it's better than bankruptcy.

In the meantime, outside the debate was write-in candidate Lewis Butts. Butts held signs and accused the debate organizers of being racist because they excluded him.

"I was at the last one and the one before that, I'll be at the African-American Chamber of Commerce debate tomorrow, but tonight you're not allowed? Yeah that is racism," Butts told CBS 21.

The Harrisburg Watch Coalition organized the debate and it was moderated by former mayoral candidate Nate Curtis, who courts kicked off the ballot.
