Just before 6 on Wednesday morning, police responded to a car crash into a utility pole in Lebanon County.

The car slid into the pole on Hill Church Road, which was then shut down for the morning between N. Weaber Street and Thompson Avenue in North Annville Township.

At first check, dispatchers tell CBS 21 News those inside the car were trapped.

Upon arrival to the scene, police tell us a woman inside the car was not trapped, and had moderate injuries.

We're told she was transported to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

The pole was partially knocked over, and crews worked through the morning to upright it.

Right now, the cause is believed to be black ice on the roadway.
