HARRISBURG -- This winter has left schools without any snow days left. One Dauphin County school has released a minute-by-minute plan to make up the days.

Starting Thursday, Central Dauphin High School will begin five minutes earlier. That will continue the rest of the school year. The change was announced to parents in an email today.

By law, each school district has to have 180 days of school or 990 hours. By starting early, the school district will be able to meet that requirement. The school has also scheduled several snow make-up days.
