Crews working on potential gas leak in Lebanon County

Reported by: Michael Gorsegner

Crews in Lebanon County are working to fix a potential gas line break in Campbelltown.

Fire crews got the call for a smell of gas just off Route 322 at the corner of Palmyra Road. Neighbors say fire crews went door-to-door and took readings, but the levels were not too high.

Still, UGI brought in crews to investigate and they are tearing up the road to look for a potential leak.

"It does worry me, because even though they say there is nothing that can harm us, it is still there.  It still does have that strong smell.  It is a worry.  It is very close to our house," said Alissa Dull who lives in the neighborhood.

At this point, Palmyra Road at Horseshoe Pike is closed while crews continue to work.
