Cumberland Valley High School Thon raises $220,020.14 FTK

Updated: Saturday, March 15 2014, 08:49 AM CDT
MECHANICSBURG -- The Cumberland Valley High School Dance MaraTHON is a twelve-hour event
held in the Dome Gym at Cumberland Valley High School.

The event raises
money for The Four Diamonds Fund, which aims to conquer childhood
cancer.

The Four Diamonds Fund aids patients at Penn State Hershey
Children's Hospital by offsetting the cost of treatment that insurance
does not cover. It also pays for expenses that may disrupt the welfare
of the child (such as car repairs, rent, or household utilities),
supports the medical team that cares for the children, and funds
pediatric cancer research.

Since 1972, the Fund has helped more than 3,000 families. Thanks to mini-THON events, no family has ever been
turned away!

This year, Cumberland Valley High School Thon raised $220,020.14 FTK (for the kids)!

CV mini-Thon, held on March 14 and 15, well-exceeded its original 2014 goal of $155,000.14.

In 2013, CV mini-Thon raised $151,467.13 FTK. Cumberland Valley High School Thon raises $220,020.14 FTK
