Diner holds pork and sauerkraut dinner to raise money for Radabaugh family

Updated: Wednesday, January 1 2014, 07:11 PM CST
A Middletown Diner decided to not take a holiday on Wednesday to support a family who lost their home, and nearly their lives, to a fire

Kuppy's Diner usually doesn't open on New Year's Day but they were cooking up pork and sauerkraut on Wednesday to raise money for the Radabaugh family.

The fundraiser also turned out to be a chance for some to thank the firefighters who responded to the fire.  "A Station 88 firefighter came in and customers were fighting to pick up the tab," said Carol Kupp.

Kuppy's also sent a few plates of pork and sauerkraut to the family, as they are preparing for some more time in the hospital as Heather Radabaugh goes in for more surgery on Thursday.
