Ephrata man charged after threating relative with gun

A Lancaster County man is facing charges after allegedly threatening a relative with a loaded shotgun.

Ephrata Police say Dion J. Friday, 18, was arrested on Wednesday after a dispute at his home in the 100 block of Tom Avenue.

Friday allegedly threatened a relative with a loaded shotgun. Ephrata Police say they recovered the shotgun at the home.

Police say the shotgun had been stolen during a burglary in Ephrata in March 2013.

Friday was charged with Simple Assault, Receiving Stolen Property and Person not to Possess a Firearm.  He was taken to Lancaster County Prison on $20,000 bail. Ephrata man charged after threating relative with gun
