GUILFORD TOWNSHIP - On March 15, 2014 around 4:34 pm, police say Arthur Marshall, 54, of Chambersburg had an epileptic seizure causing him to lose control of his car on Lincoln Way East in Guilford Township, Franklin County.

The seizure caused Marshall to lose consciousness, strike a guard rail, continue west on Route 30, strike a traffic control sign and ended up in an embankment on the north side of the roadway.

According to police, Marshall was driving Myra Marshall, 49, of Chambersburg at the time of the crash.

Both occupants were transported to Hershey Medical Center. Police tell CBS 21 that Arthur sustained major injuries and Myra suffered minor injuries from the crash. According to police, Arthur was not wearing a seat belt.Epileptic seizure causes car crash on Route 30
