Former Lower Dauphin School Board member, Rodney Nissley, was convicted of child-sex charges on Friday afternoon.

According to Chief Deputy District Attorney Sean McCormack Nissley could face a minimum of 10 to 20 years in prison. His official sentencing is scheduled for June 19th.

McCormack says Nissley was convicted of 10 out of 13 charges. The jury was unable to reach verdicts on charges of rape, statutory sexual assault, and incest.

The jury deliberated over 10 hours.

Back in May, at a preliminary hearing Dauphin County, McCormack commended the victim for coming forward and telling her story. The girl said the abuse started when she was in elementary school and occurred over several years.

Nissley was taken to Dauphin County Prison on $100,000 bail.
