DERRY TOWNSHIP --  People in Central Pennsylvania stepped up Sunday in a big way to help kids who have cancer.

Thousands participated in the Four Diamonds 5K Run and Fun Walk at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

More than $100,000 was raised, which goes to help children being treated for cancer, as well as funding research.

The money helped families like the Wooldridge's. "It feels great. Everything we do is for the kids of today and the kids of tomorrow. So it was wonderful to use see families and the community make it out here supporting the children who are fighting cancer right now and help to make sure nobody has to fight it in the future and it feels really great," says Elizabeth Wooldrige, whose son has cancer.

Since 2008 it has raised more than $160,000.Four Diamond 5K raises money for pediatric cancer
