In November, 15-year-old Emmy Maksel was struck by a car near her riding school in West Hanover Township. Maksel suffered from a fractured skull.

Ever since then, prayers have been pouring in for Emmy, who her family tells us, is making a remarkable recovery.

This past weekend, Emmy was finally allowed back on her horse "Ava" for the first time since the accident. Right now, Emmy is only allowed to walk on the horse until June because she still has fluid on her brain.

"This is a miracle.  Not too long ago she was hit by a car on life support and today she's able to be up and walking on a horse. We're just very blessed," said family spokesperson Rebecca James.

Emmy was hit on Red Top Road in West Hanover Township, where neighbors say speeding is common. Since the accident, police have been keeping a close eye on the area. Girl gets back on horse months after she was struck by car
