Happening Thursday night, many parents and kids will be hitting the road; ringing doorbells and collecting all kinds of goodies.

But keeping it safe as kids walk from door to door is important.

"Safe Kids Pennsylvania" says kids are twice as likely to be hit by a car on Halloween than any other time of the year.

They ask drivers to be extra alert for sporadic movements from kids on the sidewalks and advise parents to encourage face paint over masks.

Using a lot of reflective wear is also a great way to be spotted by drivers.
