Harrisburg man waives rape charges in court

Christian Shriner, 19, of Harrisburg appeared in court on October 9th, and agreed to waive all his charges to the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas.

By waiving the charges Shriner agreed to send the charges to the next level of court without making the victim testify. 

Shriner is charged with rape and other sexual related charges for allegedly molesting a 14-year-old girl. 

The alleged incidents happened in December 2012 in Lower Swatara Township. Shriner was arrested on September 10, 2013 by the Lower Swatara Police.  His next court appearance is scheduled before Dauphin County Common Pleas Judge Scott Arthur Evans on November 19,

Shriner is currently being held in the Dauphin County Prison on $ 50,000 bail. Harrisburg man waives rape charges in court
