Dogs, their owners and even just dog lovers had a howling good time at the Farm Show Complex for the 18th Annual PawsAbilities Event.

Visitors were treated to a costume contest, the dog Olympics and even a competition to see who could bake the best home-made dog treats. The treats were judged by the Susquehanna Service Dogs.

And they are who the event was for, to raise awareness for the dogs and how they help and impact the lives of so many residents in Pennsylvania.

The dogs are raised by volunteers from the time they are born until they turn about 18 months. Then they being their training before being placed with a person when they turn around 2-years-old.
