State Police are investigating after a 37-foot RV overturned on Interstate 81 South in Franklin County, shutting down both lanes for several hours.

The accident happened near mile marker 2 in Antrim Township.

All southbound lanes have since opened.

Police tell us John Devore, 80, of Pennellville, New York, fell asleep at the wheel, drove off the roadway, lost control, then overturned and eventually came to a stop in the median.

Devore and his passenger, Donna Devore, were taken to Meritus Hospital with minor injuries.

Their RV was also towing a SUV at the time of the crash.

Police tell us there was one witness.
