Lower Paxton man charged with theft from autos

SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP -- Susquehanna Township police have charged an 18-year-old Lower Paxton Township man with theft from automobiles, stemming from several incidents that occurred between Aug. 15 and Sept. 17.

During that time period, police received reports of several unlocked vehicles being entered during the night-time hours, and money and electronics missing. These incidents occurred in the Latchmere, Green Acres, and South Progress areas.

Susquehanna Township police interviewed Daquan Ellison, 18, of the 1000 block of Michigan Drive, Harrisburg, after he was arrested by Penbrook Police for the same type of crime. Ellison admitted to entering unlocked cars and taking items. He admitted to entering unlocked cars and taking items.

Ellison has been charged with 5 counts of theft from motor vehicles, and has been lodged in Dauphin County Prison.

Susquehanna Township police strongly encourage residents to lock their vehicles at all times, especially during the night-time hours.
