State Police are investigating after a Dauphin County woman had over $10,000 charged to her credit card.

Police say Jason Eric Brace, 44, of St. Louis, Missouri, was able to obtain the Hummelstown woman's credit card number through a phishing scam. Brace allegedly called M&T Bank and changed the address on the account to his home address.

Two days later, Brace allegedly contacted the bank and requested to add himself as an authorized user and had a credit card issued in his name.

Brace then allegedly traveled to several Walmart stores in Missouri and bought iPads totaling $10,975.26, with the credit cards.

Brace is charged with theft by deception, access device fraud, and identity theft. A warrant for his arrest has been issued. Man accused of stealing over $10K in phishing scam
