Man arrested after shots fired incident in Lancaster

Lancaster Police have made an arrest following a shots fired incident over the weekend.

Around 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 500 block of East Strawberry Street. Officers were told shots had been fired into a home in the block and the suspect had fled the scene.

Within a few minutes of the incident, officers spotted a group of three males in the 400 block of Green Street.  Police say the suspect was one of the males in the group. Officers arrested Kyle Maleak Baldwin, 21, of Lancaster.

Officers were directed to a home in the 500 block of Woodward Street. Officers executed a search warrant at the home and located a .38 caliber handgun, which had been reported stolen in 2011. Investigators also located approximately 106 grams of suspected crack cocaine, which was packaged in various quantities, as well as $2,500 cash and packaging material.

Baldwin has been charged with one count of discharging a firearm into an occupied residence,  one count of recklessly endangering another person, one count of possession with intent to deliver cocaine. Man arrested after shots fired incident in Lancaster
