A Dauphin County man was sentenced to prison on Thursday and classified as a Sexually Violent Predator after he sexually assaulted three minors.

Randy Arnold of Hummelstown, was sentenced to 10-20 years in state prison and a 10-year probationary sentence with special sexual offender conditions that prohibit his contact with minors and require him to undergo counseling for sexual offenders for the rest of his life.

Arnold was sentenced on four counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, four counts of Indecent Assault, three counts of Corruptions of Minors, three counts of Unlawful Contact with Minors and two additional sex related charges.

On October 1, 2013, Arnold pleaded guilty to numerous charges involving the sexual assaults of three minors. He admitted to sexually molesting the boys who were between the ages of 11 and 16 years old at the time.

Arnold abused the boys between 2002 and 2013. When one victim grew older he moved onto his next victim, officials say.

Classification as a Sexual Violent Predator means that when Arnold is released from prison the police will go door to door and notify his neighbors that he has moved into their neighborhood.  He will have to register his address for the rest of his life.  He will also be required to verify his address with the state police quarterly.
