Carlisle Police say a man wanted for a burglary and simple assault has turned himself in.

Kevin K Samuels, 35, has been charged with burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault, domestic violence and criminal mischief.

Police say Samuels allegedly entered a home in the 500 block of North Pitt Street on Wednesday night. The victim told police that Samuels came into the house through an upstairs window of an infant's bedroom. He then allegedly pulled a knife on the victim and threatened her before fleeing out the front door.

Police say Samuels broke the frame and glass on the storm door as he was fleeing from the house.

Samuels turned himself in to police on Thursday. He was taken to Cumberland County Prison.
