Maryland man charged for cashing three counterfeit checks

CAMP HILL -- A Maryland man has been charged after he allegedly cashed three counterfeit checks at three different Cumberland County Members First Federal Credit Union locations.

On February 24, James Harrison, 29 of Frederick, MD, reportedly cashed three counterfeit checks.  According to police, the bank account the money was withdrawn from belonged to a business in Upper Allen Township.

Harrison was arraigned and placed in Cumberland County Prison on $10,000 bail.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 10.
