A Mechanicsburg doctor has been sentenced to 15 months in prison for health care fraud and pension fraud.

Timothy Clark, 47, pleaded guilty to two indictments in April of 2013, a press release said.

In June of 2012,  Clark was indicted on charges that from July 2010 through December 2011, as the owner of Central Pennsylvania Pulmonary Associates (“CPPA”) and Sleep Disorder Centers of Central Pennsylvania, he withheld employee 401(k) contributions and failed to deposit the withheld funds into their 401(k) plan.

Clark’s employees lost approximately $25,000.

In July 2012, Clark was indicted on charges that from December 2007 through September 2008 he provided critical care services to patients of Holy Spirit Hospital and intentionally inflated the amount of time the health care providers spent with each patient, which fraudulently inflated the claims he submitted to Medicare, Highmark, Inc. and Capital Blue Cross.
