FT. INDIANTOWN GAP -- Today at Fort Indiantown Gap in Lebanon County new Bradley fighting vehicles were unveiled.

Here's a look at the upgraded combat vehicles. They were built right here in the mid-state -- at BAE Systems in York County.

The Pennsylvania National Guard will be using them and we talked to military officials today who say the upgrades will help gauge targets quicker.

“This is all really good news for my soldiers. If they have to go into combat in this platform behind me they got a much better chance of getting the job done and coming back in one piece, much more survivable, much more lethal to the enemy,” Maj. Gen. Wesley Craig, Adjutant General for PA, said.

The state-of-the-art vehicles also helps with night vision and allow service members to see through any environment.
