New Year's Eve Celebrations around Central PA

Several communities in Central PA will host New Year's Eve
Celebrations to ring in 2014!




CARLISLE: Carlisle
will host First Night celebration, downtown, and then will hoist an over-sized
version of the First Night button near Dickinson Colleges campus at West and

COLUMBIA: 
Columbia will celebrate with the Turkey Hill Ice
Cream Cone drop. The event will be held at the Turkey Hill Experience at 301

DILLSBURG: 
Dillsburg will celebrate with the annual New
Year's Eve Pickle drop. Activities begin at 4:30 p.m. with a blood drive benefiting the Central PA Blood Bank. Community Memorial Hall opens at 4:30
p.m. with childrens' games and crafts, facepainting, hair painting, and even fingernail painting at the Pickle Parlor.  

*At 7:00 p.m. the early celebration ends with the Drop of Lil' Dill.

Dillsburg Kiwanis Bingo games in the hall from 7:30 - 11:30 p.m

The evening ends with the dropping of Mr. Pickle at midnight on the Square.

DUNCANNON: Duncannon Borough brings in the New Year with its annual Sled Drop at midnight.  Festivities are from 10 p.m. to midnight.


ELIZABETHTOWN: 
Elizabetown will celebrate with the drop of the
Mars Dove Promise Chocolate at
GEARS Community Center. In honor of Elizabethtown’s sister city in Letterkenny, Ireland, the New Year’s Eve drop occurs every year at 7 p.m., aligning with the time Letterkenny will be celebrating the New Year. Families can enjoy community events including live music, a children's area, arts and crafts and food.

HARRISBURG: At the Hilton in downtown Harrisburg, 2014 will be

HERSHEY: 
Hershey
will ring in the New Year with the annual Hershey Kiss raising, on the

LANCASTER: Lancaster
will ring in the New Year with the lowering of the Red Rose at Binn's

LEBANON: 
Lebanon
will celebrate with the annual New Year's Eve Bologna drop. The event is
held at the Ninth and Cumberland Streets parking lot and begins at

Lower Allen Township will ring in the new year with

The annual Wrench Drop will be held at the
