READING -- Would you strip down to your skivvies to get scared?

That's what some people are doing Friday night at an attraction that's stirring up controversy in Berks County. It's called the "Naked and Scared Challenge" at Shocktoberfest.

At first, owner Patrick Konopelski was going to make it an all nude attraction, but after some concerns from town officials, it's now semi-nude.

And once you're inside, because you're naked, the owner says it heightens your senses and you become more afraid of the unknown. Despite being half-naked with strangers in a room, some people say they're not afraid.

"I would probably do it just to try it out," said Devon Seyfert, Berks County.

"Me, personally, I wouldn't, but if you don't have kids and you're into it I guess that's fine," said Taryn Bean, a Berks County mom.

It's a new level of fear for those 18 and up. If you bought a ticket thinking you would be able to get through the attraction naked and you're now upset, you can get a refund.Not-quite-naked and scared; haunted house requires skivvies
