PennDOT to repair Route 75 in Fannett Twp., Franklin Co.

Updated: Monday, March 17 2014, 01:34 PM CDT
This week, PennDOT will set work-zone signs on Route 75 in northern Franklin County, in preparation for drainage and base repair operations this spring.

The work will mark the start of an overall project to repair and resurface an 3.8 mile section of Route 75. The repairs will take place from Coons Road through the village of Doylesburg to Route 274, Big Spring Road in Fannett Township.

PennDOT advises those who travel Route 75 that they may encounter single-lane traffic restrictions with flaggers assisting them through the work zone weekdays during daylight hours. Work under this construction contract is scheduled to be completed by the end of May.

This section of Route 75, locally known as Path Valley Road, averages about 1,600 vehicles traveled daily.
