Police investigate rash of vehicle break-ins

MANHEIM -- Manheim Township police are investigating a rash of thefts from vehicles.

The first occurred in the 1500 block of Millersville Pike. A wallet was taken from a vehicle parked overnight Jan. 10 to 11. Total loss was $35. It is unknown how access was gained.

The second occurred in the 300 block of South School Lane. A window was smashed and a GPS was taken from a vehicle parked overnight Jan. 10 to 11. Total loss was $140.

The third occurred in the 1100 block of Maple Avenue. A window was smashed and a GPS was taken from a vehicle parked during the early morning hours of Jan. 11. Total loss was $315.

The fourth occurred in the 1100 block of Spring Grove Avenue. A window was smashed and a vehicle rummaged through sometime overnight Jan. 10 to 11, while the vehicle was parked. Total loss was $100.
