A Perry County shopping center was struck by two robberies just hours apart on Wednesday, and now police need your help in catching the robbers.

Police say a man carrying a black gun stole money from an 18-year-old man in the parking lot of the Village Square Shopping Center in Carroll Township, while he was getting into his car around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, during the first burglary.

The victim handed over about $180.00 in cash before the robber took off toward Route 850 eastbound.

State Police describe that suspect as a black male between 25 and 30 years old, about 6 feet tall, 200 to 215 pounds with a soul-patch style beard under his lower lip.

About six hours later, State Police say another burglar entered into the Rite Aid, demanding prescription pills from employees, before fleeing the scene.

We're told the suspect got into a dark colored, mid-size car, and drove off.

State Police say that suspect is decribed as a white man in his 20s with very short dark colored hair and a thin build.

Troopers believe he is between 5-feet-8-inches tall and 5-feet-10-inches tall with facial hair and tattoos on both hands.

CBS 21's Jesse Knutson called State Police on Thursday morning to see if these two burglaries are related, but police did not confirm or deny any connection.

If you have any information about these burglaries, you're asked to call State Police Newport.
