Police say one pharmacy was burglarized just after midnight Monday morning, and another pharmacy less than a block away was also targeted.

The burglaries happened at the CVS Pharmacy in the 200 block of Market Street and at the Rite Aid in the 300 block of Market Street in Harrisburg.

Police say the burglar broke into the CVS and stole cigarettes. The burglar broke glass at the entrance of the Rite Aid, but did not enter into the store and did not steal anything.

Using video surveillance from one of the pharmacies, police were able to identify the suspect.

Police set up a perimeter in the area of Kittatinny and Crescent Streets in Harrisburg and used a K-9 unit to try and track down the suspect, but they were unsuccessful.

Police are still searching for the suspect. If you have any information regarding these burglaries, you're asked to contact Harrisburg Police.
