MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP -- Police are searching for the driver who hit a Postal Service delivery vehicle, asked the postal worker if she was alright, and then drove off.

The incident occurred on Wednesday just before 3 p.m. on North George Street in Manchester Township.

The Postal Service vehicle was making dropping off mail along the southbound lanes when an older tan Honda sedan was traveling southbound and struck the mail vehicle from behind.

The driver of the Honda, a light-skinned black or Hispanic man, stopped and asked the driver is she was ok, which she was.  He then returned to his car and sped off at a high speed.

The suspect did not provide any contact information or identification.  He is believed to be in his mid 20s.  The Honda should have moderate front end damaged, and numerous bumper stickers on the back bumper.

Anyone with information into this crash is asked to call Northern York County Regional Police at 717-292-3647.
