A Shippensburg woman is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a police officer.

Officers were called to the 300 block of East King Street for a report of an argument. Police say an argument broke out between Allison Bull, 22, and her ex-boyfriend. Bull left the home and came back with two people and used a large cooler to break glass out of two windows at the home.

When officers arrived, Bull told police her ex-boyfriend had put his hands on her so she broke the windows. Police say Bull had ample time to call police, but retaliated instead.

When the officer was speaking with the male, police say Bull attempted to leave. Officers allegedly yelled at Bull multiple times to stop but she refused until he caught up with her, a press release said.

According to a press release, Bull refused to identify herself, resisted arrest and punched the officer in the genitals and ran into King Street.

After the officer took Bull into custody, she resisted to get into the vehicle and kicked the officer in the genitals.

Bull is charged with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and summary criminal mischief.

A non-traffic citation was filed charging Tashawna Johnson with disorderly conduct after she repeatedly yelled and refused to stop after being warned by police. Shippensburg woman assaults police officer
