State police in Chambersburg investigating two separate but connected robberies

CHAMBERSBURG -- State police in Chambersburg are investigating two incidents which are thought to be linked to one another involving a burglary and theft and robbery. 

The first incident was a burglary in the 500 block of Main Street, Marion. Someone entered the victim’s garage by prying open a door and then gained access to the victim’s residence. The person looked through the victim’s house and fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money and miscellaneous items that were purchased as Christmas gifts.

The second incident occurred in the 5000 block of Greenvillage on Philadelphia Avenue when a man between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, small to medium build, dressed in all camo with a camo stock mask entered the victim's residence by prying open a door leading to the house from the garage.

The victim, a 94-year-old man, confronted the intruder and was physically shoved to the floor. The intruder then demanded money and a walle. He then looked through the victim's house and fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash.
