Two men arrested on numerous drug, gun charges

Cornwall Borough Police say two men are facing several charges after an incident on Sunday. When officers arrived, a Lancaster County resident told police that the two men pulled into the driveway of his home and were acting suspicious. The victim told police that he came out of his home, fired a warning shot into the air, and then chased the suspects on Route 72. The chase ended in the parking lot.

In a car driven by Jose Enrique Gonzalez, 22, officers found 36 grams of bulk heroin with a street value of $20,000, a .22 caliber Beretta handgun, and a loaded SKS assault rifle with a 20 round
magazine.  An electronic scale and numerous drug packaging materials
were also found in the vehicle, a press release said. 

Gilbert is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a designer drug, carrying a firearm without a license, possession with intent to deliver heroin, convicted felon not to own a firearm, and five counts of criminal conspiracy.

Gonzalez is charged with driving under suspension, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a designer drug, carrying a firearm without a license, possession with intent to deliver heroin, and five counts of criminal conspiracy. 

Both men were taken to Lebanon County Prison on $250,000 bail. Two men arrested on numerous drug, gun charges
