Two York County residents charged with drug possession

ETTERS -- Two York County residents were arrested on drug charges over the weekend.

On Feb. 21, Fairview Township police arrested Christopher Nauss, 22, of the 100 block of Leo Court, Lewisberry, and Kendrae Smith, 24, of the 1700 block of Oakley Drive, Dover, for possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

At 1:50 p.m., agents from York County Adult Probation were conducting an in-home check in the 100 block of Leo Court when they found illegal drugs.

The Fairview Township Police Department was requested to provide assistance. Police seized more than 30 grams of marijuana and cocaine; 10 different prescription medications; and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.

Both Nauss and Smith were charged with six counts each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The were processed and arraigned at the York County Booking Center and remanded to the York County Prison.
