UPDATE: Littlestown Police arrest man in connection with bank robbery

Littlestown Police have arrested Ryan Palmer, 23, of Littlestown, in connection with a bank robbery at Adams County National Bank on Tuesday.

Palmer is currently in Adams County prison on $50,000 bail and a state parole detainer.

Littlestown Police are searching for a suspect following a bank robbery.

The robbery happened around 10:53 a.m. on Tuesday at the Adams County National Bank at 444 West King Street.

Police say the suspect, identified as Ryan Palmer, 23, of Littlestown, entered the bank and handed the teller a note indicating that he had a gun in his pocket. Police say the note told the teller to do as told and empty the cash drawer. The teller complied with the note, and police say Palmer fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Palmer was identified through bank surveillance cameras and police records.

Anyone with information on Palmer's whereabouts is asked to contact police via emergency 911. Police say Palmer should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. UPDATE: Littlestown Police arrest man in connection with bank robbery
