UPDATE: Man killed in Windsor Twp. industrial accident

York Area Regional Police have identified a man who was killed after an industrial accident in Windsor Township, York County.

Emergency crews were called to the Red Lion Water Authority Pumping Facility on Gebhart Road around 10:58 a.m., after an electrical switch gear box fell and trapped 55-year-old Benedict Todt of Gardeners, underneath it.

The box, which weighed up to 2,000 pounds, was not connected to electricity at the time of the accident.

Todt was an electrician for Lobar Inc. of Dillsburg, PA. 

Police say the facility is undergoing an expansion project and Todt was installing the box when the accident happened. UPDATE: Man killed in Windsor Twp. industrial accident
