Northern York County Regional Police are investigating after two homes were damaged after a reported shooting.

The incident happened on Monday in the 600 block of North George Street.

Police say around 2 a.m., two suspects discharged a 20 gauge shotgun behind two homes. Residents were in the homes at the time of the shootings, but police say no one was injured.

The shootings appear to be connected, but the homes appear to have been randomly chosen, a press release said.

The shootings caused damaged to windows and doors at both homes. Police say one of the homes was shot from the area of Albright Avenue and the second was shot at fairly close range.

West York Borough Police identified one of the suspects as Anthony Lamont Real, 21, of York. Police say Real was the passenger of an SUV and allegedly shot the firearm.

On Monday officers arrested Real at his home. He was charged with aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.

Real was taken to York County Prison on $40,000 bail.

Police are still seeking information on the driver of a black Honda SUV. The driver is described as a male in his mid to late 30's. Police say this man is also believed to have been firing a handgun.

Anyone with information is asked to call West York Borough Police at 854-1975.
