VIDEO: Fight near John Harris High School

HARRISBURG -- CBS 21 has obtained video of a massive fight that broke out after Harrisburg High School let out yesterday.

In the video, it sounds like shots are being fired. Now neighbors are worried while victims try to find a way to pay for the damage.

How it started is unclear, but yesterday shortly after Harrisburg High School dismissed students, neighbors think they heard shotS fired, but police say no shots were fired.

The fight happened on Rudy Road near Hale Avenue.

A witness took video of the fight from her second story apartment. It involved, she said, about 400 kids.

What you can’t see in the video is the student jumping on local cars, but you can see the roofs are partially caved in. One of the cars belongs to Tracy Jackson’s stepdaughter.

“No, [this does not shock me] in the City of Harrisburg. Harrisburg is a violent city," Jackson said.

Police say five cars were damaged, but no one was hurt and no arrests have been made. As for who is going to pay for the damage, Jackson said the school needs to find out who did this so someone can be held accountable.

"These kids are violent. They have guns. I mean, there are POs (police officers) in schools. That's ridiculous. I've never heard of that before. That's crazy," she said.

We did reach out to the school to see if it was doing anything about the fight and finding the students responsible, but didn’t receive a call back.VIDEO: Fight near John Harris High School
