ENOLA -- Home surveillance video became a prime witness today in the case against a West Fairview Township, Cumberland County, woman accused of throwing some kind of acid on her neighbor and then stabbing her twice. It was one of the reasons that all the charges against Lourdes Keefe were bound over for trial.

The surveillance video was from the home of the victim, Dyanne Ensminger, with whom Keefe has been feuding for more than a year. The feud reportedly began because Keefe allowed her dogs to run freely through the neighborhood.
The video clearly shows a liquid being thrown on Ensminger.

Ensminger identified the suspect, Lourdes Keefe, as the person in the video when she testified today in the preliminary hearing. She appeared to get emotional as she watched the video.

The prosecutor says the home surveillance video will hold up in court.
“You are free to put surveillance cameras on your property. You only have problems if you have audio; you can’t audio-tape someone,” said Cumberland County prosecutor John Dailey.

Ensminger testified that Keefe came up to her and said something about "tea" and then threw a pitcher of liquid on her saying "I am going to kill you."

A friend of Ensminger also testified and verified the details of the alleged attack that occurred Aug. 22 outside Ensminger’s West Fairview home.

Police revealed in court that a knife was found in the car Keefe was in just after the attack. Police stopped that car and took her into custody. They also found a container that appeared to hold the caustic material used in the attack.

East Pennsboro Township police are still waiting for laboratory results to find out what was in the liquid.

The judge said there was enough evidence to send Keefe to trial on all the charges which include Aggravated Assault and Criminal Attempt Homicide.

Formal arraignment was set for Dec. 19.
