A neighbor feud in West Fairview, East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County erupted into something much more sinister Thursday night police say.

54-year old Lourdes Keefe threw an unidentified "caustic" substance on her neighbor and stabbed her twice in the stomach.

Keefe is charged with attempted homicide and several counts of aggravated assault.

Police say the event Thursday night came after an ongoing dispute between the Keefe and the victim, Dyanne Ensminger.

The victim was upset that Keefe left her dogs roam the streets the of the small borough. Court records show two incidents in May.

Thursday, Keefe was officially cited for the dog law violation and was so angry she told police "someone is going to pay."

Just hours later, police were called to her street for a reported stabbing. They found Keefe in the back of car, apparently trying to leave the scene.
She was arrested and remains in jail.

The victim has been treated and released with burns to her shoulder and two wounds to her stomach.

The police investigation is being helped out by the victim's forethought to put up video cameras outside of the residence.

The video will be used in the the case against Keefe.Woman throws chemical, stabs her neighbor after dispute
