York City announces after school program

The City of York is announcing a new after school program for kids. The program will be held at the Princess Street Center at 368 West Princess Street, starting Tuesday, January 21st.

The program will run Monday through Friday’s from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Parents and guardians can register children at the Princess Street Center starting Tuesday, Jan. 21 during the hours of the after school program.

The York City Recreation and Park staff will offer tutoring, help with homework assignments, as well as art and craft activities and games.

Registered children will be able to participate in special activities which include visiting Martin Memorial Library on Thursdays and participating in First Friday Movie Nights (held the first Friday of every month) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Movie night will include pizza and snacks.
