YORK -- The York County District Attorney's office has confirmed that Aric Woodard was found guilty of first-degree murder and will now go through the penalty phase.

Woodard, 40, was found guilty Thursday in the November 2011 death of Jacques Twinn, the two-year-old son of his then-girlfriend, Hayley Twinn.
The toddler was beaten to death and found in a bathtub.

In May 2012, York County District Attorney Tom Kearney announced that he would be seeking the death penalty for Woodard. York man found guilty of murder, death penalty sought
