HARRISBURG - New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston has been named the honorary chair of the 2014 Big 33 Classic, the Big 33 Scholarship Foundation has announced.

Colston, a graduate of Susquehanna Township High School, is the Saints' all-time leader in receptions (607), yards (8,337) and touchdowns (63). He won the Super Bowl with New Orleans in 2010.

The 57th Big 33 Football Classic, featuring the top high school football prospects from Pennsylvania and Maryland, is June 14 at Hersheypark Stadium.

"I am excited to partner with Big 33 this year," said Colston in a statement. "It is such a prestigious and competitive game on the field and stands for all of the right things off the field.

"It is an honor for me and the Stampede to become a part of this tradition."

Colston is also the owner and general manager of the Harrisburg Stampede indoor team and was recognized recently by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett for being a leader in the community.
