West Perry's 17 game win streak snapped in state quarterfinals

A team that had won 17 consecutive games on a run to the PIAA-AAA quarterfinals, the West Perry girls' basketball team lost Saturday afternoon to Holy Redeemer 53-41.

This was the furthest the Mustangs had gotten in the state playoffs since 1994.  West Perry was defeated that year by Bishop Hoban, which later became Holy Redeemer.West Perry's 17 game win streak snapped in state quarterfinals
